Returns & Guarantee; 
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase, so if you're not completely satisfied simply contact us within a month of your purchase date, and we will provide you with a return authorization code.  Simply include that code with any item you wish to return, and mail it back to us for a full refund.  We ask you to please take care to package the item in a similar fashion as it was shipped to you (to protect it from damage during transit), and to cover return postage, including "signature confirmation" to document that your return was received at our facility.

Security;
Our website and data center are protected with state of the art security measures to assure your information is safe.  Our payment process through Paypal routes you to the Paypal website which uses SSL encryption... in addition to the most current and comprehensive security measures to protect your information when processing your payment.

Privacy;
All personal information (such as your email address) is kept in strictest confidence.  We do not share your information with anyone else.  None of your payment information is stored on our site... (Paypal's secure site is the only site that handles your payments).  Rest assured of complete privacy, and highly secure payment processing when you deal with RealOpal.com.

Shipping;
We are happy to offer our customers in the U.S.A. free shipping on all jewelry products shipped to addresses within the United States.  If you live outside the U.S.A., or if you have an address that the U.S. Postal Service doesn't deliver to, or if you are ordering large heavy parcels of "rough opal stones"... then an additional shipping charge will be added to your invoice to cover the actual cost of shipping, insurance, and delivery confirmation.  We will contact you via email or phone prior to shipping your order with the actual shipping charges for your approval (usually around $10 to $15 U.S. dollars for international deliveries, or heavy parcels within the U.S.A). 
With international orders, individual buyers are responsible for any Customs duties, or import duties your country may assess.  Please contact your Customs dept. for details regarding your country.

Authenticity?
RealOpal.com has gone to great lengths to assure that the products you receive from us are made from genuine authentic Australian opal.  We verify this authenticity with our vendors also, so we can provide you with the quality that only "real opal" can offer.

Tax;
If you reside outside of California, no tax is added to your order. 
Note to California residents; The State of California requires that current state tax rates be applied to all orders that are shipped to addresses within California.  This tax will be added automatically to orders within California before your final payment processing is completed. 

Payments;
All payments to RealOpal.com will be processed through the Paypal payment system... proven to be fast, efficient, convenient, and secure.   You will be automatically routed to Paypal's site when you utilize the "Buy Now" buttons, or "Check Out" on our shopping cart.  Once routed to Paypal you may choose to use your Mastercard, Visa, or Paypal account.  There are no additional charges for using this service.  If you prefer not to use Paypal, and instead want to use cash, personal check, or postal money order, please phone or email RealOpal.com customer service  prior to placing your order and we will assist you on how to complete your transaction using one of these alternate payment methods.

Sold Out, Unavailable, or Backordered Items;
We sincerely apologize that an item you wanted to order is currently sold out. As your satisfaction is our main concern, we would like to offer you the following options;

1. If you want an item that's very similar (and sometimes superior) to the "sold out" item, you can email or phone us (see "Contact Us" section) with the "sold out" item's name, and product number. We will promptly check our entire inventory, and email you photos of the most similar products we have in stock, (we have a tremendous amount of stock that is not pictured on our website due to sheer volume). You can then inform us if you would like to purchase any of the new items you've been emailed, and if so, they'll be shipped to you immediately.

2. Certain products that we are completely "sold out" of can be ordered by RealOpal.com from our manufacturers, vendors, or opal miners. If we're completely out of all stock of a particular item that you would like, please email or phone us with your request, and we will promptly order new stock of that particular product, and inform you of the earliest estimated time it can be shipped to you. Again, we're sorry for any inconvenience this process may have caused you, and we'll do our best to "make it up to you". Thanks for shopping with us at RealOpal.com, we appreciate your business!
